Is there a way to get log information on bounced messages?

Suppose someone sent a mail three days ago, is there a way to pull that message out of the logs as a bounce or get any information on that message if I knew the address it was sent from and where it was sent?

Any help, ideas are greatly appreciated.

Check the maillog in /var/log. There should also be some compressed ones for when the logfiles were rotated.
