Zimbra features don't work on Firefox

I'm dropping in on this thread as I've been trying to figure out why some links we receive work and others do not. Is the key that for hyperlinks to work in the Zimbra webclient they need to be Ajax produced, not HTML?

For example, links that I get from the Zimbra forum (when someone replies to a post) do NOT work in the Zimbra Webclient (PC, Firefox). Some links in emails do work, some do not. We also have a system that sends out emails with links to reports. The links do not work so users have to cut/paste to see the reports. The few Outlook users cruise right along clicking on the links and getting the content.

Generally we've been happy with our move to Zimbra, but stuff like this really grinds folks. Any clues would be greatly appreciated!

Information like the following would be helpful:

Server version: Can be gotten by running "zmcontrol -v" on the zimbra server logged in as the zimbra user. Sample output looks like:

Client version: Can be gotten by typing "$set:get version" into the search box of the AJAX (not HTML) Client. Sample output looks like:

Browser version: Can be gotten by going to Help->About Firefox. Sample output looks like:

Screen Resolution: In windows this can be found by right clicking on the desktop-> Clicking on Properties (Personalize in Vista)->Clicking on the settings tab (Clicking on Display Settings in Vista)-> The set of two numbers in the lower right corner. Sample looks like:

I haven't checked every single email, but if I were to view the reply from this thread with the basic html client, the link to this forum works fine. The ajax client does not.

Users would love to be able to click on a link and have it go - and they would also like to be able to cut/paste a link in and have it active for the recipient.

FWIW, we saw a similar problem with links back on 4.5.x as well.

We get daily reports emailed to us by our clients' Microsoft SBS servers. Those emails are all formatted html and the links at the top of the reports, which link to sections farther down the report, did not work. (They actually wound up reframing a new ZCS mail window inside the existing mail window.)

For us, this behaviour went away in ZCS 4.5.10, and we haven't seen it on 4.5.11 nor on 5.0.4.
