ugrading from opensource to Network Edition on same hardware

Hi,


I had installed opensource zimbra for 100 accounts, which is working
fine but now for testing purpose, I had download trail network edition
Therefore sales people had send the licence file to my email

I had stop the zimbra server taken backup of that with rsysnc,
then just ran NE installer, and answered "Yes" when prompted whether to upgrade or not. it has detected the licence successfully but at last,
it has given the below error.

Looking for valid license to install...failed to install license.

*******ERROR

Failed to install a license - this will prevent your server from functioning properly
Please contact Zimbra to obtain a license

try
su - zimbra
zmlicense -i (license file location)

Then try the upgrade again.

I had the same problem, it turned out being file permissions on the license file. Changing the owner/group to zimbra.zimbra allowed the zmlicense command to work.

I then performed the upgrade again and things went smooth.
