Default Works on 80, but not 8080

Hi, I had zimbra running... then it stopped working today.

On port 80 it works, but as soon as I switch to 8080, the page gives me a blank after trying to load for a long time.

The same thing happened initially, and it worked all of a sudden, so I just left it. Now I'm in the same problem, but would like to know why it's happening.

I can even give access to the server to a zimbra engineer if necessary...

Have you made the changes in server.xml and web.xml? Make sure you haven't missed any port 80 entries in them.

Bill is right, have a look in the Tomcat directory for server.xml and web.xml files to make sure that the port is correctly set in there.

If you are running Beta 3 Update 2(or better) this is automatic. You can set the web port at install time. No more hacking the xml files. It also will maintain this setting on upgrades.
