Webmail - Delete and Empty message (discard)

Maybe I'm not seeing it, but is there a way in web mail to totally discard an email that you receive. In Groupwise the option was called "delete & empty" Like you get a totally worthless email and you don't even want it to occupy trash space, and you just want it gone. I know the option is in filters to "discard", but it would be nice to have an option like that on an individual email. Thoughts?
