Please refer bellow lines and do the configuration.

In MailScanner.conf File - :

I ran across this thread when looking at the AV options for Zimbra. I'm coming from Sendmail/MailScanner/MailWatch, so I'm used to a bit more control and visuals.

Some questions for anyone that has followed these directions:

1) Does it work?
2) Can you then archive and view spam logs with MailWatch?
3) How could I link it to the "junk/not junk" buttons within Zimbra?

If anyone has any ideas on these, I'd like to hear them!

Not tried as I run MS infront of ZCS on a seperate VM anyway. Though it looks like it would

I would imagine so as it mailwatch.pm which just writes of to a MySQL database somewhere

That would be harder to do, but I think you would need to either hijack the button, or remove it and replace with your own zimlet.

Thanks uxbod! Then my only obstacle would be the spam filtering integration. I've never setup user-managed filtering with MailScanner... I was hoping Zimbra's AV/AS would do it for me. But during a trial install, I'm definately missing the level of control with MailScanner/MailWatch.

Default Who will control postfix daemon ?

tharangamu, I´m looking for a solution to integrate on a single box zimbra and mailscanner. I did try this scenario you suggested, but in this case who will start the postfix daemon? Zimbra or MailScanner?

Default Zimbra + Mailscanner

This is working perfectly for me.

after doing above steps and make sure to disable "Send blocked extension notification to recipient" option on Global Settings in Zimbra admin panel.

Please follow mention steps clearly and check.

Default Different size of emails for different users

Hi i tried a similar integration, it kind of worked. I was able to send emails, but the reason I added MailScanner was to limit different size of emails and attachments per users. But it didnt work, it was like if I was trying to send something from the zimbra webclient it didnt went through MailScanner, just trough posix. So the limits I created in MailScanner never worked. Maybe I did something wrong.
But can someone confirm if it is possible to do this with MailScanner and Zimbra?
