Default syncinternaldates in imapsync error

When I add the flag --syncinternaldates I receive the following error - Can't locate Date/Manip.pm in@INC

Any clue what this is. It works great without adding the flag.

my full command is

imapsync --buffersize 8192000 --syncinternaldates --folder name --host1 address -ssl1 --user1 name --password ****** --host2 address -ssl2 --user2 name --password2 ******

thanks
