Do you know if anyone plans on adding this feature in the future...a forgot password link ...asking questions to verify identity or something

Did you look at the RFE report? It has exactly zero votes, that will determine how important it is to users and the community - if you think it's important then vote on it. You'll get all the details from the RFE on if, or when, the feature will be implemented and you can also keep up-to-dat with RFEs and bug reports via the Product PortalZimbra Product Portal.

Hello,
some times it is no so big deal to "accept" an idea, even though it is not so popular on demand from RFE point of view.

One BIG problem for some of my customers, is the idea of the community, which does not ensure that something that must be achieved (or it is a company requirement) in a commercial product , it will be so.
RFE is good, but company requirements (or "fresh" ideas) must be considered too , especially if talking to the paid/commercial edition.

For example, zimbra vs google is one of the primary goals for accepting this solution to my company.
BUT having to manually reset an account in a company of 1000+ users (or even smaller), may seems a BIG problem to me, while a small mechanism with 2-3-4 options available for automatically password reset, may seems very nice (which can be turned off in the community edition).

Anyway, zimbra has a lot of zimlets available too ...
Maybe some programmer wants to implement it , we'll have to wait and see,

Regards,
Panagiotis

Posting your comments here, while useful for discussion, will have zero effect on whether that feature gets implemented. You should a) vote on the bug report and b) raise a support case for this feature and ask support to add the case to that bug report - that's what gets the attention of the developers. People don't seem to bother voting for RFEs and even the o/p hasn't been bothered to vote, hence there's only four votes for it since it was filed.
