Caldav - Meeting reminders

I have a user that is using Leopard/Caldav and is subscribed to several other user's calendars for the ability to see their schedule, etc.

The only problem is that they receive meeting reminders for all the calendar's they are subscribed to. Is there a way to disable this functionality?
