Default Upgrade 4.5.10 to 5.0.2

I am looking into upgrading to 5.0.2 and we are currently running 4.5.10

Should I / Do I need to upgrade to 4.5.11 first?

Has anyone else gone from 4.5.10 to 5.0.2?

Thanks

I went that route with no hitches. But it wouldn't hurt to do the 4.5.11 backup if you're unlucky :-)

Seriously though, I had no troubles.

I just did it over the weekend. Went from 4.5.10 to 5.0.2. No trouble at all.

In case you were wondering the 5.0.2 upgrade will go through the same steps that a 4.5.10 to 4.5.11 upgrade does....and then continue on with all upgrades that have been released after that till it reaches the level of 5.0.2. So upgrading to 4.5.11 and then going on to 5.0.2 in a separate procedure will just add to the downtime of your server. As always make sure that you have a full backup before you attempt the upgrade so if something does go wrong for some reason you can restore your backup.

However, if you have any LDAP replicas...then I would suggest going 4.5.10 > 4.5.11 > 5.0.2

LDAP Replicas 4.5.x > 5.0.x
4.5.11 & 5.0.2 Released!

Cool thanks. Just trying to minimize down time. I dont have any LDAP replicas so hopefully I can go to 5.0.2 in the next few weeks
Thanks again
