external account using internal password

its possible use of the password internal zimbra in external accounts setup (pop/imap)?

i have zimbra Authenticating in Active Directory and as front-end as exchange via imap.


The problem in my political default that force the user to change the password every 30 days, then they have to reconfigure external accounts, and that always a problem.

The external accounts are nothing to do with ZImbra, we just retrieve mail from them. It's not possible for us to change those passwords, that has to be done by the user.
