Default Detecting spammers spamming from zimbra accts

/me sighs

Ok, so apparently people with legitimate accounts are spamming out of our zimbra server, and getting us blocked by yahoo and some other major internet providers...

We have plans to have zimbra mta relay through our baracudas to help prevent our users from spamming etc, however in the interim, is there any sort of way we can get stats on sheer quantity of mail being sent? (eg, joe bob send 1000 messages in a minute etc.)

Also, as far as rate limiting, have we decided if using 3rd party policyd with postfix is a smart idea? I'd like to at least reduce how badly one bad apple can affect our other customers.

If policyd is a logical solution for this, does that require I reinstall policyd and rules each and every time I process an upgrade?

Thanks for the information in advance.

Weston

Also check your trusted networks. It will default to the whole subnet on the wan side. Not sure if you are an ISP or what ISP you are using.
