[SOLVED] Unable to move messages > 10MB with imapsync

We are trying to move messages from ensim to zimbra. imapsync fails on large messages with the error "NO [TOOBIG] request too long". This happens even though both zimbraFileUploadMaxSize and zimbraMtaMaxMessageSize are set to large numbers (>500 mb)

I don't know if this is related to bug# 15718

Did you zmmailboxdctl restart (or zmcontrol everything) after increasing the sizes?

Max size can be set both in global config and for the specific server. Is the latter configured to be smaller? zmprov gs mail.tiebridge.com | grep Size

Can you provide details on the imapsync version/ os and zimbra version so we can advise further.

Can you also provide details of the commands you are running when trying to migrate your user data please.

I am suer it can be resolved.

As of later imapsync version the --buffersize option is deprecated.

Restarting the server solved this problem. Thanks to everybody who responded.
