    You asked how to use it. I pointed you to the guide. Have you changed your settings? We can't help it if you don't tune your system.

    i would say your own learning process isn't working.

    so where i might have helped fix your system, in this case i'm going to offer some alternative great advice. when you get spam, hit the junk button in your web client. keep hitting it until all the spam has gone. problem solved.

    If you hit me up on IM, I'll walk you through it. I'd like to see some MIME headers.

    Simple first question--you say
    I put junk into junk folder but do not seem to see a let up.
    How are you putting it in the junk folder? If drag-and-drop from an email client like Outlook or Thunderbird, it won't work (there's an RFE filed on this in Bugzilla, it has not yet been implemented). You have to use the "Junk" button and/or drag-and-drop from in the web client only. If you don't want to use the web client you need to forward the junk messages, one at a time, as attachments, to the auto-created spam account in your system.

    You also need to have trained your filters with spam and ham messages. This also gives you the other way to train--logging on at the command line and using zmtrainsa on your junk folders.

    This is all documented in numerous threads, as well as
    Zimbra MTA - Zimbra :: Wiki and
    CLI zmtrainsa - Zimbra :: Wiki

    Then there's a ton of tweaks to the spam filtering documented at
    Improving Anti-spam system - Zimbra :: Wiki

    And final (gentle, I hope) feedback. Most of the active posters on this site--all except employees, in fact--are volunteers who are doing this for the good of the community. We and the employees are all dedicated to making Zimbra work better for you and the rest of the users. You'll generally find (as in life) that people tend to respond with more accommodation when the message they're getting is friendly rather than hostile. . .

    And if the message sounds like RTFM (something which I don't see often here) it may be because the thread has been answered many times before--I answered a very similar question earlier today, in fact. That search bar in the upper-right-hand corner of your screen is a good friend!
