Still fighting with getting the welcome page configured to do something. I would like to try the com_zimbra_blog zip from zimlet-experimental. I have copied it to the desktop and extracted the files. What is one to do with said files? Place them in a folder under /opt/zimbra/some/where or take the code out of said files and insert somewhere? I would appreciate any help.

EDIT
Where is the <header> tag in zimbra? Trying to install scriptulous js.
/EDIT

Yes, it's located exactly where it tells you in the post you've quoted.

Then why didn't you say that in the first place?

I don't know why, it finds an rss zimlet for me in the same directory mentioned in the post you quoted.

This 'Hometab GA' feature is no longer targeted for any release (it was targeted for 7 and then for 8).

The feature request now has no milestone attached (Bug 24551 &ndash; Home Tab GA - Requested Layouts & Features)

It would be helpful to have feedback about whether it's still going to be considered in the next year or two, or has it's development ceased/been suspended?

i voted for this feature, would be great to have this enabled in Zimbra, nothing to elaborated, i think that with just a few statistics like:

Number of Unreaded Email in the day
Number of appointments in the day
Number of unfinished Tasks in the day
a RSS feed maybe and a MOTD

i will be pretty happy with that

atm i can only view a blank page and i dont know how to fill it (when i use the AJAX client), if i switch to HTML i can see a couple of
statistics in english (unread mail and Calendar appointments), also the page is not translated to spanish which is my set language.

Will be amazing to have this.
