'zmcontrol status' vs 'service zimbra status'

Hello everyone

I'm running M4_62 on FC4 and everything works great. There's one thing that puzzles me however and I couldn't find anything about this elsewhere in the forums. I basically get different results as to which Zimbra services are running when I run 'zmcontrol status' and 'service zimbra status'.

Here's the output of both commands:

[root@zimbra bin]# ./zmcontrol status
Host zimbra.bludok.com
antispam Stopped
antivirus Stopped
ldap Running
logger Running
mailbox Stopped
mta Stopped
snmp Running
spell Running

[root@zimbra bin]# service zimbra status
Host zimbra.bludok.com
antispam Running
antivirus Running
ldap Running
logger Running
mailbox Running
mta Running
snmp Running
spell Running

Is anyone else experiencing this and is it something I should worry about? Again, Zimbra works fine in any case.

try running zmcontrol status as the zimbra user, not the root user.
