I notice in your post some spaces in things like "objectClass" which shouldn't be there. Is that just from the forums, or were those literally there when you ran the commands?

the Inforamtion in LDAP is correct without the spaces:

\(\|\(zimbraMailDeliveryAddress=${USER}\)\(zimbraM ailAlias=${USER}\)\)
\(\&\(zimbraServiceHostname=\${MAILHOST}\)\(object Class=zimbraServer\)\)
\(\&\(zimbraVirtualIPAddress=${IPADDR}\)\(objectCl ass=zimbraDomain\)\)

so, this can not be the Problem....

This doesn't look right. For example, on my system, I get the output without the backslashes, which is correct.
