Path from FC5 4.5.11 to 5.02?

Greetings,
It appears that Zimbra has dropped support for FC5 for upgrades to the 5 platform.
If I have to upgrade my OS, my preference would be Centos5, but support appears to be doubtful...

So, how do I go about upgrading my FC5 4.5.11 GA to Fedora 7 5.02?

Do I "upgrade" my OS first from FC5 to Fedora 7? Then apply the update?

Any step by step guide would be appreciated. Thanks
