Default [SOLVED] How can I remove the Yahoo! search box ?

All my users currently see a Yahoo! search box on the top of their screen.

This happens with any theme, i.e. sand, lemongrass, etc., not just the new "yahoo" theme.

At first I thought it's a zimlet, so I disabled "zimbra_local" and "zimbra_search" via the Zimlets menu in the admin UI. I also ensured that these zimlets are not activated for the user's COS, but the thing is still there.

Do I have to undeploy them to get rid of this thing ?

My users don't want it in Zimbra because they use their browser's toolbar for internet searches.

Yes, I will. And I will look up and learn what they actually do.

Edit: Oh and I don't know why, but when I searched I missed that there's already a mature thread on this issue:

[SOLVED] 5.1 upgrade added yahoo search. How can I remove it?

Using 5.0.7NE, I did the command as zimbra user:

zmprov mc default zimbraFeatureWebSearchEnabled FALSE

CLI accepted it, BUT the ajax client still has Yahoo web search, regardless of skin/theme.

Do you have a new command for 5.0.7NE, or will this be a bug?

Works for me 5.0.7_GA_2450, didn't even have to restart ZCS or clear my cache.

A) Is the user in the 'default' COS?
B) Clear your browser cache > check
C) zmmailboxdctl restart & re-clear browser cache > check

A) my account with a copy of default, but our COS slightly changed for out IT group
B) Did so in IE7 and no change
C) Did zimbra command you mentioned, but still no change, even after cache clearing again.

When you say clear cache, were talking about the standard browser way to do this via toools etc..., or is there a zimbra link/button or something that is proprietary to clear cache?

I attached what I still see as 'yahoosearch.png'. Should I restart the whole server or?

Version 5.0.7_GA_2450.RHEL5_64.NETWORK Jun 30, 2008
