My customer have been running zcs-4.5.3_GA_733 without problems for almost a year now. Suddenly today, tomcat refuses to start up.
1) Checked the host file
2) fixed the permissions with zmfixperms
3) repaired the raw_logs table in zimbra_logger
4) disabled imapproxy
5) checked that no other services are using the zimbra ports
6) read and tried tons of forum posts and possible solutions
7) set the heap size to 5
Still, tomcat wont start
zimbra.log says nothing, except postfix complaining about:
fatal: Queue report unavailable - mail system is down
the other logs says nothing at all. catalina.log is empty.
