[SOLVED] Backup Problems

Went into check on the status of the backups (like a good sysadmin) and get the attached error when going through the webadmin

I also was going to do a tidy (all our backups get moved to tape) so ran

[zimbra@mail ~]$ zmbackup -del 7d

and got

Error occurred: system failure: unable to retrieve latest session-account, account name-id maps

I've done a stop and start of the service using zmcontrol and everything seems to be running fine, just no backups.

hm, did you ever set zimbraBackupTarget different at one time?

I've had the same error having just upgraded to Zimbra 5.0.1 and deleted the old 4.x backups from under /opt/zimbra/backup.

I deleted /opt/zimbra/backup/4* and then ran zmbackup -f -a all and got the error

"Error occurred: system failure: unable to retrieve latest session-account, account name-id maps"

The fix was to delete /opt/zimbra/backup/accounts.xml (which was empty for some reason).

That seems to have fixed the issue, I'll email the support guys and let them know
