Old version in zimbra/backup folder

I upgraded from 4.0.2 to 4.5.6 on Saturday 19th January and today I ran out of disk space. I am on RHEL5.

I noticed that there is a folder in /opt/zimbra/backup called
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Jan 19 12:12 4.5.6_GA
It contains one folder:
drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 4096 Jan 19 12:06 4.0.2_GA-5.3

(created the same time I did the upgrade).
It is 12G and I was wondering if it is safe to delete it? (I am copying it somewhere else first).
I can't find anything in the upgrade notes about it. The notes do say to perform backups - which I did (copied the entire opt/zimbra folder to another place on disk.) Is this another backup that the upgrade script performs?

Based from my experience, those two folders contain two versions of your Zimbra backup. The other one for the older version of ZImbra before the upgrade and the other one after the upgrade.

I think it is safe to move those files in another location to free up some space however take note that you can only restore backup files with the same Zimbra version.
Just my thoughts..
