[SOLVED] Zimbra 5.0.1 restore from 4.5.10

Hello,

I am testing the 5.0.1 version of Zimbra on a seperate server before I migrate to it. I wanted to restore an account from 4.5.10 to the test server and I am having problems. I copied over one of my full backups from the production server to the test server and then tried to use zmrestore to start the restore.

zmrestore -ra -s production.server.com -a user@production.server.com -t /scratch/
Error occurred: invalid request: Neither accounts or system data are specified for restore

I can seem to get the command to restore the account.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

You currently can't restore across major versions like that (you'd have to setup a 4.5.10 box).

In the works though are these RFE's: Bug 14002 - Add conversion tool to upgrade backup versions to allow restore on later zcs versions & Bug 15750 - support for restore across major versions
