[SOLVED] External GAL Lookup - Domino LDAP

Hi guys,

I am trying to set up one of our servers to work with one of our customers own external LDAP servers. The server is a Domino server, and on our end we are running Zimbra 5.0.1. So far I have been able to get Zimbra to talk to his AD server (for authentication) and have had no problems getting that to work.

The problem I am having is that when I go through the GAL Configuration Wizard, I cannot seem to get it to work properly. Here are my settings:

LDAP Filter: (&(|(cn=*%s*)(sn=*%s*)))
Autocomplete Filter: (|(uid=%s*)(sn=%s*)(givenname=%s*)(mail=%s*))

The autocomplete filter is correct...pretty sure of that because I compared it directly to the values in the LDAP. Where I am struggling is with the LDAP filter. An interesting thing is that if I type in a search value that is definitely present in the LDAP, the wizard will say "Test Successful" and show a blank box with no results in it (as opposed to a box saying "No results found"). It also doesn't allow me to click "Finish" unless I type in a value that doesn't appear in the database.

Any ideas on this curious problem?

Nevermind, I managed to get it working by switching the LDAP over to AD. Much better functionality on AD I found, although I'm sure I could have got it working if I had found the right filter for Domino.
