Default Schedule View displays events in wrong calendar

Wondering if anybody else is seeing buggy schedule view in calendar displaying events in wrong calendar.

Bug Bug 22909 - Schedule View displaying wrong information has already been opened but I'm like to get this confirmed and fixed ASAP.

Here is a screenshot of what it is doing for me. ZCS 5.0.1 NE, FF2 on Mac.

Thanks,
John

I am also seeing this.

Calendar events in my main calendar are showing up on the schedule view for one of my other (shared) calendars when I look at the Schedule view.

Thanks for confirming that. You might want to add comments/votes to the bug. I need this fixed before I can rollout 5.0.x for a client.

Talking

I had to explain to a user that this view was simply broken and her events were being created properly....

5 times.

I had to explain it to 70 people.

"Well at least we got IM and Briefcase" they hear me say. Then I hear how they don't care. Thy just want their calendar fixed.

Please fix this!

I agree. I wish I had seen this. We upgraded to 5.01, had this issue, thought it was corrupted, trashed the system and re-installed. Same issue. Argghhh.

Any one else think it's ridiculous that we can't "color" or label appointments except for "tags" which are:
1-Barely visible
2-Don't translate over shared calendars (which is one of the whole points in labeling different types of appointments)

And when is 5.0.2 going to be available? How did this not get tested prior to release.

RE: Testing, I sometimes wonder what kind of unit test coverage Zimbra has. I see that there are some tests, but I suspect there is nowhere near full coverage for the entire Zimbra suite.

RE: Release of 5.0.2, I haven't seen any zimbra employees mention when it will be available, but here is my patented and nearly foolproof way to tell when a release imminent.

Look at the product portal, and when you see all or most all the bugs flip from resolved to verified, that means QA has blessed the fix(es) in the build, so you will likely see a release shortly thereafter.

Zimbra Product Portal

having said that, for this particular bug, the fix appears to be only a change in a single javascript file:

Bug 22909 - Schedule View displaying wrong information

So, if this is killing you, I would email support and ask if they would email you the javascript fix in question so you can apply it yourself.

Thanks. Another issue is in add appointments, if you are in schedule view, it doesn't matter which calendar you double click on, QuickAdd will presume you are adding to your own Calendar.
