Disabling the yahoo local zimlet in OSS version doesn't remove the yahoo search bar.

Looking in the skin html files there is no reference to the yahoo search, so must be in the code for the Zimbra search (?)

Can this be made to go against alternate search providers? (like to search field in FF or IE)? This way could have this search my internal website or go against wikipedia, etc. This should able to be disabled in the COS.

Exclamation

I opened a ticket looking for a solution to this after not finding one in the wiki or the forums here. In response I was directed to this thread, and this bug: Bug 23275 - Yahoo search engine hardcoded . This whole thing really upsets me too, but at least they were responsive about it via trouble tickets and say they are working on a fix, ASAP I presume. I have a 5.0.1 install and was not able to remove yahoo search, even after removing the yahoo local zimlet.

Hi Guys,
We're going to be fixing this in 5.0.2 which will be out sometime next week or the week after.
