Default ... Ajax seems to be having an issue 5.0RC2 ...

I have been able to reproduce the problem (though I cannot at this moment...), but cannot determine what's actually going on behind the scenes.

When I am in my Inbox, click a message and then click Reply All. The compose div is displayed and everything seems to work correctly.

    Except...

The browser starts doing a background reload constantly.

It must be part of the Ajax, it drives the CPU to 100% and never stops on it's own, regardless of any actions I attempt. (It doesn't change when viewing other tabs, performing actions on calendar items, addresses, etc.)

The only way I can get it to stop doing the perpetual reloading is to do a full refresh in the browser window. The entire page reloads and it's fine. (until it decides to start reloading again...) The Firefox javascript (Error) console doesn't show any errors during this time.

    This is with ZCS 5.0 RC2, Firefox 2.0.0.11, Mac OS X 10.4.11...

I seem to be having this issue all of the sudden, and I'm running 5.0.2. When I do a "reply" to an email I get this endless loop of constantly refreshing in Firefox.

    Anyone else seeing this problem?

    Default Looping

I have seen it a few times also. Running Firefox 2.0.0.12 & Zimbra 5.0.2.

I'll start watching for a pattern.

I'm running OpenSuSe 10.3 on my desktop with Firefox 2.0.0.12. I decided to upgrade my Java from 1.5 to 1.6 and the problem seems to have now gone away. I tried various version of Firefox back to 2.0.0.8 (which didn't help), then I tried Firefox 3 Beta and that didn't help either. I changed my Java version, and that seems to have done the trick.... go figure???

That could be a problem, since (to pick an example) users of the latest Symantec Endpoint Protection (me) can't use the admin client on Java 1.6 and are therefore required to keep 1.5. Others very well may have other non-optional programs that are limited to an earlier Java version--I've seen EDI programs with vendors that have similar issues. We can't afford to have Zimbra admin tied to only the latest Java.

Can others confirm that the Java version is the issue here?

    Default Java version

I have java 1.6.0.30 installed and it happens every time I try to do a "reply" this AM. Host is using Zimbra 5.0.2 NE. Client is a Windows XP, using Firefox 2.0.0.12.

Canceling the Reply has no effect. To stop the "Loading" action I need to Log Out, and log back in.

FWIW, I've had two clients this am (just upgraded last night) with the same symptoms. I know one was on ff 2.0.0.12 on XP. The other was at home so not sure.

I'm getting more reports of the problem now as well. I'm curious what theme are the people running that were having problems. I recently changed the COS to force the Yahoo theme to everybody. I'm kind of thinking that might be the issue. I've changed back to theme "Sand" and I haven't seen the issue since. I'm not saying that was the fix, time will tell for me, but I wanted to ask the theme question to people seeing the problem.
