Default Multiple aliases on different accounts

Hi

How can i have a alias on two accounts? I added test@domain.tld to both my and another account, but the mail only goes to one of the accounts. Did not find this anywhere in the forum.

Of course you can't have the same alias on multiple accounts, it doesn't make sense and how would zimbra know where to deliver it. If you want the email to end up in two different accounts you need to either create a filter to send a copy of change the option to forward a copy to the second account.

Ok

But, We are a NE customer, and the users use Microsoft Outlook, would the rules work anyway? I COULD make a account on the alias and forward from there, but each account cost money....

I assume you are talking about Inbound email that you want delivered to two accounts? If that's what you're after then the filters run server-side not in Outlook and would deliver the email to another mailbox. You could also set it in the users preferences to forward a copy to another mailbox - either of those will do what you want.

I want to reinforce mcesari's suggestion because he's correct--an alias is for one user; a distribution list is just like an alias except you can put a whole bunch of recipients into the list and they'll all get the message that is sent to that list's name.
