Default ZCS 10 IMAP/POP3 mail sending problem outside network

Hello,

I have installed ZCS 10 on SLES 9 and set Split DNS successfully. Ii have configured IMAP & POP3 in my internal network using offip and it works fine.
i can send mail to any domain and i can receive mail.
if i try same services(POP3 & IMAP) other then setup network it sends mail to local/same domain but not send any other domain it fails to send.

example : mydomain.com
Email Account 1 = abc@mydomain.com
Email Account 2 = 123@mydomain.com

Other Emial Account = 007@hotmail.com

from internal network i can send mail to any and recd. from any. works fine.

from External/Outside network
abc@mydomain.com to 123@mydomain.com --- > Send --- > OK

abc@mydomain.com to 007@hotmail.com ---> send ---> FAIL
abc@mydomain.com to any other domain even trusted -- > FAIL

I am so confused what to do next .
Please help me to get the solution as possible.
any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Yukari !!!

When it fails, it would help if you posted the error messages not that it 'failed' as it's impossible to give any answer to that.

From Apple - Imail client
Yes, error is Like " The server response was : <uscell@gmail.com>: Relay access denied "

From Outlook Express Mail Client :

"The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'uscell@gmail.com'. Subject 'test', Account: 'mail.xyz.com', Server: 'mail.xyz.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '554 <uscell@gmail.com>: Relay access denied', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 554, Error Number: 0x800CCC79 "

This has been covered many times in the forums, search for 'mynetworks' and also look in the wiki. Check the settings for that entry are correct.

Ok i had search and i found Mail Submission / Relaying and i did the same thing which is discribe on wiki.
One Quick Question ... dose any thing affect Split DNS.. ???
i had a quick look on /var/log/zimbra.log it shows me empty.. ??

i have Somany client across world and they all using POP3 & IMAP it;s not possible to get all the clients IP pool and set for relaying .
earlier we were using exchange and on exchange we can authenticate user and grant send mail from any network.
in zimbra if we select authentication it stops send mail.even locally we cannot send.

I want my user can authenticate and send e-mail to any one ..
without authentication it will not allowed to send .

Please Please suggest me what to do ..

Thanks,
Yukari !!!

You don't add all the IPs for your clients, you just add your LAN & 127.0.0.0/8 as described in the wiki article.

Previously when i pass the CLI to check Mynetworks the same one there
127.0.0.0/8 172.16.10.18/24
this two and i added one one like
127.0.0.0/8 172.16.10.18/24 202.160.163.89/29

now it listed same as 127.0.0.0/8 172.16.10.18/24 202.160.163.89/29

Guide me ... di i need to restart server after change.. i had a postfix reloaded.,

thanks,
Yukari !!!
