Users on our network are trying their best to manage their quotas since moving from a POP3-based system to Zimbra. One section that keeps hold of large chunks of quota is the Sent folder. Within our network, the files being attached are on the file servers anyway, so storing them on Zimbra as well is overkill for us.
Is there any way to stop Zimbra from storing attachments when an email is sent, but just keep a copy of the email part alone (perhaps storing just a path to the attachment, to allow tracking on the network)? I've searched the forum for a similar situation without much success.
A bugzilla search brought up bug-enhancement 233, but this is removing an attachment after it's been stored.
Am I missing something obvious here?
