Don't hurt me, but we built this into 5.0![]()
okay cool thanks for the fast reply!
Hi here
i have v5 open source i don t see this behavior, the mails get deferred, not bounced.
zmprov gacf zimbraLmtpPermanentFailureWhenOverQuota
set this to true to bounce message instead of keep them in differed
thanks a lot
I'm getting ready to turn quotas up with 5.0.16 open source, how does the deferred queue work exactly? If I enable quotas and the user is over quota, will they still get the warning messages? How long will inbound mail be held in the deferred queue, what happens when it expires?
Users get warnings when they are getting close to quota and you can set how often they would get a warning email sent.
If a user is over quota the mail will sit in the deferred queue for a few days before it gets bounced back to the original sender. I dont think anyone is notfied durring those few days.
If you set mail to be bounced right away the sender will get a message bounce right after he sends the message
