Default after restore can't view web client or admin area

I had my Ubuntu FOSS server go down on me and I have a backup that I am trying to restore. I reinstalled zimbra on fixed server and stopped the services then copied over /opt/zimbra/ and at first it said that clamd was stopped but I worked through that.

I am unable to get to the either the web client or the web admin but zmcontrol says all are running.

Pease advise. TIA

P.S. Should I upgrade to newest version to see if that helps?

Can we see your current:
/opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log
and
/opt/zimbra/tomcat/logs/catalina.out

I wouldn't upgrade until you figure out what's going wrong. Otherwise, the upgrade could fail, then you'd really be in trouble.

Default error.

Do you want to verify message store database integrity? [Y]
Verifying integrity of message store databases. This may take a while.

Wow,
you've got some serious problems, my friend.

Do you still have your backup? Was there problems before the restore? How about disk space? I see many cannot commit errors which sounds like either db issues, or disk space issues. I also see
/opt/zimbra/jdk1.6.0_02/jre/lib/jce.jar: inflateFully: Unexpected end of stream

Which looks like java's all messed up.

Default coming off of filesystem issues.

unfortuanately our previous install was having filesystems errors. I have the backup. I used the backup to overwrite the entire /opt/zimbra/ directory. I also have backed up the fresh install /opt/zimbra/ in case i had to replace some files.

Yeah, that fits the logs.

You should know that there is absolutely any guarantee you'll be able to get your system back. We have no idea the level of damage caused by the file system.

I have to prepare you for the worst.

There could be missing blob, and missing db issues. If the EOF (end of file) issue is any indication, I'm guessing that you'll have more EOF issues.
