Question Exchange migration tool dups messages

We are testing converting from MS exchange to Zimbra.

We have found that when re-running the conversion for a given mailbox, if that user has folders in addition to the inbox the messages are being duplicated in the folders during subsequent conversions. (we've only done one subsequent conversion but it's a problem since the user has 49,000 emails, most of them in folders...)

Is this normal or is the tool not working right?

We're still struggling with the duplicate messages. One user alone had over 21,000 messages, double what should be there. Is there a way to weed out the duplicate messages?

You wil get duplicate messages if you run the wizard multiple times. The best thing you can do is to empty the folder before running the wizard a second time. The command would be:

    Code:
    su - zimbra
    zmmailbox -z -m <account> emptyFolder /inbox
