Default [SOLVED] Smart host configuration - zimbra as mail relay

Hi All,

I installed Zimbra successfully and holds 4 domains so far. I having few problems.
1) Zimbra acts as an "open relay" to the world. I can connect to the server via SMTP port and send a mail to anywhere.
Code:
220 zimbra.mydomain.com ESMTP Postfix
helo gili.com
250 zimbra.mydomain.com
mail from:gili@gmail.com
250 Ok
rcpt to:gili2@gmail.com
250 Ok
data
354 End data with <CR><LF>.<CR><LF>
fff
.
250 Ok: queued as C6B2BB60C8
who can I prevent my Zimbra server from becoming a "spam" server?

2) I like to use Zimbra as a "mail relay" to one more domain (internal mail server) and to be able to use it's antispam and antivirus capabilities. How do I do this?

Thanks,
Gili

Zimbra is not an 'Open Relay to the world'. Unless you've modified something in Zimbra it is NOT an open relay by default. Please check your server with one of the many relay checks on-line (a google or yahoo search will give you plenty of choices). This subject has also come up many times on the forums, please search and check the details in the other posts.

My second issue is still "opened"...

That's OK, it's an easy mistake to make.

Second issue, if you want Zimbra to 'share' a LAN with another mail server and act as a relay then you'll need a Split Domain - that article should tell you all you need to know.

Code:
$ zmprov md example.com zimbraMailCatchAllAddress @example.com
$ zmprov md example.com zimbraMailCatchAllForwardingAddress @example.com
$ zmprov md example.com zimbraMailTransport smtp:mail.example.com
