The search captcha for the forum is the most annoying thing ever.

What's the idea? You don't want people searching too much? You want them straining to read to type in this junk every time? You are afraid the solutions will get cached on google? I can understand for account creation, but the search feature?

You don't even see the spam we do & you have no idea how many bogus bots send POST requests to the search form. It wouldn't be there if it weren't legit.

If it annoys you, then just stay logged in.
