    Default SSL_accept error from hostname[ip address]: -1

I have a client on mail.app using a mac who cannot send on port 587 using auth and SSL (other users on Outlook and some other Mac's are working).

When I look in zimbra.log I see the error mentioned in the subject line.

After a google search I wasn't able to dig anything up.

    Any ideas?

    Default

    Here's some more info:

I have a 4.5.9 install with a geotrust cert. After installing the cert i've had issues with certain clients.

Incoming pop over SSL always works fine. Outgoing SSL always works on windows Outlook, but has issues on other clients / OS's.

mail.app and evolution on mac work for some users, but not for others. the only client problem i can duplicate 100% of the time is using outlook express on windows.

I read somewhere the OE has a different TLS mechanism than Outlook - but other than that i have no leads on this problem.

    When i look at zimbra.log i see
    - connect from....
    - setting up TLS connection from...
    - SSL_accept error from
    ...and then it just stalls.

Can anyone help shed some light?

    Thanks,
    Kevin
