Default External domain

Hello,

I have installed the Open Source Edition on Ubuntu and the server is behind a router. The purpose of the ZCS is to retrieve mails from an external POP server and being able to send mails out. I have set up an internal domain internaldom.local and a local user localuser. Then I set up the external domain externaldom.com and have given the user an alias of localuser@externaldom.com. This way I can send mails that show the external domain instead of the local domain.

The problem is that I cannot send mails to other users on this external domain because the ZCS thinks that it is an internal domain (Error: bounce). How can I tell the ZCS that this is an external domain?

Have you enabled DNS lookups in the Admin UI, do you have a DNS server that will resolve (internal or external) addresses for you?

Yes to both, I can ping yahoo.com from the Zimbra server:

root@mail:~# ping yahoo.com
PING yahoo.com (66.94.234.13) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from w2.rc.vip.scd.yahoo.com (66.94.234.13): icmp_seq=1 ttl=43 time=188 ms
64 bytes from w2.rc.vip.scd.yahoo.com (66.94.234.13): icmp_seq=2 ttl=43 time=187 ms

and 'Enable DNS lookups' is definitely checked.

I am sending out through a relay MTA for external delivery and mails to other external domains go out with no problems. But these mails to externaldom.com don't even leave the ZCS.
