    Exclamation Cant Send Mail Help !!! All Virus Scanners Failed

    Hi All! We use Zimbra over 11 months it was good e mail sever, But now we have big problem ! Antivirus Clam AV cant scan e mails. Nobody cant send mails.
    I have reboot server, start stop services nothing....

    Virus_scan failed: all virus scanners failed:too many retries to talk to 127.0.0.1:3310 (can't connect to inet socket 127.0.01:3310: connection refused) at (eval 54) line 269 (in reply to end of data command)

    Problem is Antivirus if turn it of all work but when turn on all mails stops in
    Defferred !

    On FC5 32 BIT/Opensource Release 4.5.5_GA_838.FC5_20070503175107 FC5 FOSS edition.
    Please help !!!

    Welcome to the forums,

    If you we're on 4.5.6 I would have said it was: Bug 18312 - ClamAV: clamd corrupt db
    A quick fix for that would have been modifying the watchdog timeout found here: /forums/installation/11957-solved-clamd-pid-no-such-file.html#post61912

    As you're on 4.5.5 however (that didn't crop up till .6) could you attach you logfiles?
    list: /docs/ne/latest/administration_guide/9_Monitoring.12.1.html#1075561
    specifically /var/log/zimbra.log & /opt/zimbra/log/clamav.log

    However you should make a backup and upgrade to 4.5.9

    The simplest backup you can make:
    su zimbra
    zmcontrol stop
    switch to root
    ps aux | grep zimbra (kill -9 any remaining)
    mkdir /backup455
    rsync -avHK /opt/zimbra/ /backup455/zimbra

    You could also make a tar for ease of moving it to a safeplace:
    mkdir /backup455tar
    tar -zcvf /backup455tar/mail.backup.gz -C /backup455/zimbra .

    Other things to try if you cannot upgrade include making a backup then see Updating CLAMAV - Zimbra :: Wiki
