Character limit in calendar.rss notes field

I want to use the calender.rss to publicly display events. The feed works really well.

But I need to display sometimes lengthy notes from the notes field in the calendar entry and the feed seems to clip them after 250 chars or so. I am running this as a user at Western Illinois U., so I don't have direct access to the rss file to mess with it.

The bottom of this feed is an example.

Can someone tell me what fields (or elsewise) need to be adjusted so I can get the info to the sysadmin here and create longer note entries (if possible).
