Multiple Grouped Messages

Hello all. I am experiencing a weired issue with Zimbra. First let me explain my setup.

I am running a Barracuda SPAM Firewall Model 400 on the front side that all of my domains MX records point to. After the email has been filtered, it is delivered to my Zimbra server. I have multiple domains and about 100 users. I am currently running Zimbra 5.0.0_BETA3_1276.RHEL5_64.FOSS Aug 22, 2007 on a CentOS5 machine.

The issue is that after a user logs into the Zimbra web interface and then goes back to using their regular mail client (Thunderbird or Outlook), they start experiencing emails being duplicated and some being changed and over written. Say five different people send me five different emails. All four of the emails that come in first would be completely over written and changed to look exactly like the fifth email that came in including headers, body, and message. There is also duplication going on.

If anyone has any ideas what is going on I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks!

It kind of sounds like that. I have seen that happen as well. Is it easy to downgrade Zimbra Open Source and is it possible without having to reinstall the server and migrate the users?

No, do not downgrade your version of Zimbra - you'll likely damage it. Is there any way your users would restrict themselves to the web ui until the next RC arrives?

I doubt it. My bosses would probably have something to say about that. Which would probably be "no, not gonna happen". Any other ideas?

OK, the alternative to that is to build another Zimbra server of the version you want (4.5.9) and copy the mail via IMAPSYNC (you could do it by using Thunderbird connected to both servers then drag'n'drop), exporting Contacts & Calendar info then import into your new server. That, in it's simplest description, is about it.
