A Bash script at server login?

Are you talking about webmail login? or SSH/tty login?

That's an interesting question. What is the goal of running a script at each login?

I don't believe there is a built-in way with Zimbra, but a fairly easy alternative would be to create a Perl script to monitor/tail the log files (like audit.log) and execute the script in question each time.

It will take some custom work on your behalf, but it's probably the only option at the moment.

Krishopper, thank you for your answer

the aim of the script is to launch a background task (imapsync) in order to synchronize emails on another imap server. My idea was to ´take´ the username and password inserted in Zimbra´s webclient to launch the script.

Anyway, your idea is quite good, I am trying to modify the login mechanism but I´m also looking for other ways to do that
