Default Stats problem on the .7

Dear Mike,

I have keep your correct version away and try this on a new hardware disk with newly installed .7 there is not data whatso ever in there. Just like to have some training on the problem handling.

Firstly, to correct this stats problem,
secondly, will have some recovery for the live box
thirdly, will have some upgrade testing and recovery.

So before we go ahead with the upgrade from .7 to .8 we would like to have this try it out on this testing unit first with backup data and if ok, we will be apply the upgrade to the live server then.

many thanks

We're actually on release 4.5.9 now
How about making a a backup -using the methods you've just learned- (and put a backup copy on the 'test') then upgrade the 'test' to .9 The upgrade process alone may fix your logger issue.

Honestly, I think you should post a note in the jobs forum and pay someone to help you, or upgrade to Network Edition. That's just my opinion.

His title says:

So if you're going to be transferring it back to live (or doing the same actions on the live to upgrade later) make this testbox the same/identical.
Then you won't have differences or have to run through this in between: Network Edition: Moving from 32-bit to 64-bit Server - Zimbra :: Wiki

Upgrading versions means you obviously have a system in place and assumably configured correctly :

In which case use the -s switch to install the software components only

i.e. ./install.sh -s

This will use the current configuration and hopefully bypass the config part.

Also, are you aware of the platform being 64 bit, is this the right platform for your machine?

Good luck

I think I will take Mike's suggestion. As I am try to do moving the Zimbra between platform following the Wiki which have not mention anything that we need to becareful when moving form 32 bit to 64 bit units with the same version .7.

Thanks Mike, I think you are big help.
