Default Change server host name in "View Mail" link?

I recently got a new SSL server specific certificate for our server to replace the wildcard certificate we had in place previously so that we could start working with Windows Mobile 5 devices. The certificate is for a "friendlier" host name than the actual name of the server. This is working fine for the end users. The only problem I've having now is that if I'm in the administrator tool and click on the "View Mail" button for someone's account, I get a certificate error since it's trying to go to their web mail at the actual server's host name. Can I make it go to the "friendlier" host name without having to change the host name of the server? I've read the posts and wiki articles about this (scary! ) and I'd rather not do it unless I have to.

Thanks!
