Default External Ldap AUTH

Hello All:
I'm currently trying to setup a test Zimbra Server on Ubuntu 6.10. I have it installed, but I'm in need of external LDAP authentication. Our LDAP servers require a client cert for the client to connect to the LDAP server. Is there a way that I can shove them in somewhere and have it work?

I have googled and yahooed for an hour now, and have gotten no where. Help would be great!!!
