We will not be supporting openSuSE 10 in Zimbra 5 onwards so you'll either have to keep openSuSE 10 or migrate to another o/s.

As a personal comment, I don't understand why people use a version of Linux that will be EOL in a relatively short time - you should install Ubuntu 6.x LTS or CentOS5 and use that for your server operating system.

You can also find details of product releases on the Product Portal.

    Question

    Hi
last year i started to use zimbra and my server was ready with opensuse 10.0.
After testing i passed to zimbra. As i hadn't an enterprise linux (and i have not yet) and ubuntu, centos were not supported at that time i started with opensuse10.0 and i go on if possible.

Now i wonder opensuse 10.x will be supported or zimbra stop supporting opensuse distribution?

I ask you to understand if
I have to change linux distribution anywhere or not

if there will be the same version of zcs for opensuse 10.0 and for opensuse 10.2 or 10.3 for example i could migrate to this zcs version, then upgrade with yast my opensuse and then upgrade again my zcs. Could be correct?
I know i'm lazy but before starting in migration from opensuse to ubuntu or centos i would be sure to have understood

Zimbra will run on CentOS (and always did), I've been running my OSS server on that since Zimbra was first released it is merely a rebuild of RHEL. Please check the Product Portal link for the Linux versions we will be supporting.
