Default Change to external GAL filter, not available in zimbra client

Hi,

I performed a change in the gal search filter. I tested it under the admin interface and everything is ok.

Going into zimbra client, the complete from gal still gives the results as if the changes to filters were not applied. Tried to restart the webclient, same results.

Do i have to restart a service to have the gal changes applied to clients ?
