When a user receives an attachment with special characters in the attachment filename, the URL built from them doesn't seem to get properly escaped. The ones I've seen most recently is a filename with a date where the sender used forward slashes to separate the date parts (ie. filename of "Report 09/26/2007.pdf"). The user gets an HTTP 404 trying to view the attachment using the web client. Using an IMAP client the attachment can be received normally.
Seems to be the same/similar bug to this which was marked as "fixed."
Any way to force it to rewrite/escape/etc. the URL?
This is on a Fedora Core 5 box
