Having some problem in restoring the system
Further to that problem, I have use a backup on few days back, for the restoring of the system
And after restoring, the MTA will not restart
and also I have try to upgrade it to 4.5.7 again but the admin and all other accounts are losted some how.
can not lost in and can not check the admin
after using zmprov gaaa
no admin are found?

what can I do any help?

I have try to use the full backup done 4.5.6 on the 24th
and restore is ok, zimbra running but the MTA is would not start i have check the postfix is running but he mta will not start after serval times trying zmcontrol start and stop

Then I try to upgrade to 4.5.7, after upgrade everything is running but all the user account can not be found
not even the admin account
I try gaaa on the zmprov
no luck.
helppppppppp!!!!!!!!!

Default When update from 4.5.6 to 4.5.7 found this error

After restoring few times, and found this problem which may have cause the lost of the accounts,
Can you help to fix it?

Starting servers...Starting ldap
ERROR: account.NO_SUCH_SERVER (no such server: winhead-hk.com)
Checking ldap status

Setting defaults...Done
Setting defaults from existing config...Upgrading from 4.5.6_GA_1044 to 4.5.7_GA_1319

I'd suggest you check your DNS records, your external ones point an MX at the domain name (which probably isn't what you want) rather than a server name. If you're behind a router you'll need a Split DNS set-up.

Default Problem resolve

Dear Jholder and Mmorse,
the problem have been solve after some I re install the 4.5.6 again, the MTA working again. And then upgrade to4.5.7 fine.
I am not sure what cause the Ldap failure during the 4.5.6 upgrade when the MTA was not running.
So the correct steps to do this recovery:
first restore all the file into the folder, and run the zimbra upgrade which you currently using. And check if all the service are running correctly first.
And then upgrade to new version.
