Default zmbackup - run before / run after scripts?

Hi,

is there a way to run an own script prior / after each backup?
I'd like to copy the backup afterwards to a ftp server.

Cheers
Andre

Backups are stored in the cron tab jobs for zimbra. If you edit that, you can stick your script in before/after Zimbra.

I'm doing something similar and would like to know how to query backup completeness. We are adding users frequently and the backup time is growing. I can't be constantly adjusting the time of the cron job.

Any way to automagically start another script? Or do I have to mod the backup script, which means I lose my mod whenever I upgrade the version.

Cheers
