    Default zmtrainsa warning

    I just upgraded to ZCS 4.5.7. When running zmtrainsa I receive the following warning:

    netset: cannot include 127.0.0.0/8 as it has already been included

    FWIW, I have 127.0.0.0/8 as a value in zimbraMtaMyNetworks. Should I remove it?

    Thanks!

    I believe you can ignore this - ie: It has already made a token attached to the approved list for anything in trusted_networks or internal_networks.

    MMorse is probably right, but just for kicks, can you take a look at your spam train logs to insure that it is training?

    Do you have any ways to fix the problem?

    I just upgraded to 4.5.9, and I am still getting this error. Also, when I run zmtrainsa, it is not updating the ZIMBRAHOME/log/spamtrain.log file.

    What should the log file look like? A repeat of the messages that display when you run the zmtrainsa command?

    The error itself is nothing to be concerned about. As to why it's not updating the log, can you clarify that? Does the timestamp update?

    Sorry. You are right, I should have been more explicit.

    Yes, when I was looking to gather log information for you, I noticed that it was not updating the timestamp.

    Granted, I am making the following assumptions. Let me know if these are incorrect.

    1. zmtrainsa should update the log, even if it found nothing to change.
    2. zmtrainsa logs locally, not over syslogd to the logger server.

    Here the date for reference, and an 'ls' command run before and after I ran 'zmtrainsa'.

    That perticular log will always show sometime after 11pm - zmtrainsa doesn't log there by default.
    here's the crontab:
    0 23 * * * /opt/zimbra/bin/zmtrainsa >> /opt/zimbra/log/spamtrain.log 2>&1

    for your other issue show us the output
    postconf mynetworks
    zmlocalconfig | zimbraMtaMyNetworks (or something similar)
    and check your /opt/zimbra/conf/salocal.cf.in under trusted_networks

    That makes sense. I see that in there. So just to clairify, zmtrainsa does no logging on it's own.

    for your other issue show us the output
    postconf mynetworks
    zmlocalconfig | zimbraMtaMyNetworks (or something similar)
    and check your /opt/zimbra/conf/salocal.cf.in under trusted_networks
    Code:
    $ postconf mynetworks
    mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 172.16.9.0/24 192.168.0.0/24 192.168.11.0/24
    zmlocalconfig | grep -i net returns nothing, and nothing in zmlocalconfig looks like a list of netblocks. However..
    Code:
    $ zmprov gs MTA.DOMAIN.com | grep -i net
    zimbraMtaMyNetworks: 127.0.0.0/8 172.16.9.0/24 192.168.0.0/24 192.168.11.0/24
    And trusted_networks in salocal.cf (not salocal.cf.in):
    Code:
    trusted_networks 127.0.0.0/8 172.16.9.0/24 192.168.0.0/24 192.168.11.0/24
